" What makes a blog – the content or the traffic?"

This is the question someone pushed at me some hours before I picked my pen. There is no blog without content and also there is no blog without traffic.

So if you are concentrating on one and leaving the other behind, you are getting it wrong. If you are creating content and not thinking of how to drive traffic, or you are driving traffic to an empty blog; then you are getting it all wrong. The good news is you can achieve both as you grow your blog. Both of them contribute tremendously to the growth of your blog.

That draws me to a conclusion, my content must be created with my audience in mind, no matter how good our ideas are, we need people to consume them by reading, understanding and using them valuably. These take a lot of thought and effort, you must learn how to connect with your audience.

Well I am not sure that I am in a better position than some, however as a chef of 40 years all over the world, with hundreds of contacts in the industry and a rich personal story to tell, my blogs are always personalized something like "when I was cooking for Elton John I invented a burger for him, this is how I made it"
All product reviews are based on my personal experience with the item in question. I realize that this slant is not always in reach of many that may not have many personal experience or expertise within their niches.

Great,
It is a very good way to connect with your audience, but u do not have to be an expert before you write about topics in a niche

Thanks for another amazing tutorial. Great points made here. Figuring out our target audience is key. People will only return if they feel a personal connection, agreed!
