Advantages of Outbound Links from the SEO point of view

Before I begin stating the general advantages of outbound links, I'd like to acquaint you with the Google related link operator.

The Google related link operator is mainly used to detect which links are related to your site and which ones are not. A related domain link will not do but display many reputable and authority domains in your specialty.

Blog comment links are, of course, considered related links, and if a comment author always drops quality comments on most of the posts published on your blog, such a comment author might eventually have his own blog address featured as one of those related domain links.

Another way to check out related domain links is to search through Google as follows – related:{yoursitedomain}.com. By searching that way, you’ll find many links that are related to your site.

One of the most important things you must check out for is ensuring that there are no spammy links standing in as related links. You continue building high-quality links by creating bonds with authority blogs and influencers in your industry to ensure that good signals are always sent to Google. With quality links, a higher ranking is guaranteed.

Having understood the significance of building outbound links, the essentials for linking out to those quality domains are worth learning and noting.

Hey Janet,

Thanks for stopping by and kudos for reading this training resource! Did you know that many struggling veteran bloggers out there keep struggling for months and even years, yet, without ranking their blogs in the search? Why wouldn't they try figuring out the cause of this? They were wrongly taught or misled on what to do with a blog to make it go viral.

Building outbound links will help tremendously in making your blog receive higher rankings on search engine result pages (SERPs).

Thanks for your comment, Janet! You're highly cherished.

Thanks for stopping by, anand1209! It's great to meet someone like you who has determined to rock the online world with building links. The truth is that without links, there's no SEO, and an excellent way to find the right blogs to link out to is to use the CheckPageRank tool whose details are displayed in the screenshot below.

What are the things to look into when it comes to finding out if a blog is an authority one?

1. Check the page authority
2. Check the domain authority
3. Check the Trust score
4. Check the PR score (From Very Strong & above is a good factor to determine whether it's an authority blog or not)

Thanks for your visit!
