If you've been "doing" along with learning here, then by now you should have:
- Chosen & signed up for an Autoresponder account
- Set up your Autoresponder account
- Decided on what your offer would be
- Created your 1st Autoresponder message
- Created a Thank You Page on your site
- Added an Opt-In Form to your site using a service that will allow you to control the display of the form.
The next and last step is to Test, Test, Test.
You just set up an entire online funnel. Congratulations!
But now you need to make sure it works, and if it doesn't then you need to tweak it until it does.
You will do that by subscribing to your own list.
You will actually go to your site, put your own email into the opt-in box, and make sure that every piece of your funnel is working properly.
1. After you put your email in, did you get redirected to the Thank You page you set up on your site?
2. Did your email end up inside your autoresponder account as a subscriber to the list you set up?
3. Did you receive the 1st message you created?
4. Are you using a lead magnet? If so, did you receive it?
See what I mean? If any piece of this isn't working properly, then your subscribers won't receive your information. So testing is critical.
I suggest setting up different test emails to use for this. I would set up one or two from Yahoo and Gmail and subscribe them all to your list just to make sure that everything is working properly.
