The last key step in making your Dummy profile truly a Dummy is to ask Google to remove it from search results. If someone still has a direct link to the profile they will be able to see it - true, but if someone goes looking for it via search they likely won't find it - and Google won't penalize you for having the Dummy account. Here's what you do and what the screen should look like:

From your new Dummy google+ profile,
1. click on the little gear icon and click settings from the drop down window.
2. scroll way down to new bottom find the Profile heading
3. Make sure "Help others discover my profile in search results." is UNchecked.

You may wish to alter the other boxes as well - up to you - but you MUST uncheck the box marked in the image below.
