That's it...one last step! When saving the picture the one last thing you need to take note of is to change the file type from .png to .jpg

The default in PowerPoint is png - ALL of the time, so you need to remember that, as png is rather heavier (not as compressed) than jpg.

And there you have it...that its!

Not all the same tools are available in Paint.
I like using Paint when I need to get right down into pixel per pixel fixing and matching colors.
PowerPoint works on the whole picture for a quick and easy to use tool.
