There is another type of list I write out: my yearly goal list. Each year, I try and evaluate my business and set goals to work towards. These goals are often quite ambitious, but they're never entirely out of reach. Each goal that I accomplish will vastly improve my business in one way or the other.
I recently sat down and revamped my goal list for 2012. The header image for this page is a picture of my actual goal list. It's the same goal list that's hand written in my journal. As you can see, one of my top priorities this year is to become an Ambassador at Wealthy Affiliate.
I get extremely motivated after looking through my list because I visualize the success that accomplishing these goals will bring. My journal is always sitting on my desk. It's easily accessed and I page through it almost daily to review the goals I have written down. It keeps my mind in check as to the direction I want to take. It makes me strive to improve my business.
This goal list doesn't just feature business goals I'd like to achieve either. There are quite a few "life" goals on there as well. Some goals will improve my physical & mental health, while others are monetary goals that will improve my financial situation. Some goals are even quite trivial, but I know completing them will make me a better person.
Yes, I want you to write out your own goals as well, but we'll talk more about that in a minute. Keep reading.
