Have you ever wondered when you are viewing data in your Google Analytics how much of that data is coming from your own computer? Another words, when you go into Google Analytics you will see reports showing you how much activity and traffic your website is generating. However, it may not be giving you the most accurate date because it is also tracking your OWN use and viewing of your website.

Every computer has a unique IP address. You may want to apply a filter which excludes your own computer which is being tracked by your IP address. I will walk you through the process of applying a filter to exclude your IP address from your Google Analytics account.

Hi William!

It took a while to get this up and going today. Had some problems, but that is okay, because encountering problems and working through them all is what it is all about.

Jay did a training on this a while back and it doesn't work if you have a dynamic IP. If it does that's great. If not this tool https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout will do the trick.
