DESIRE - Make them want what you offer!

We are in the affiliate marketing business. We must sell items in order to make commissions.

Focus on your customers’ needs. Guide them along the way.

Present the most important features of your product and show your readers how they can benefit. Explain the benefits clearly so anyone can understand. This immediately creates desire.

Also, instruct them gently. For example, you can say “Get this one time only offer and save time”.

Find attractive and creative ways to get people thinking. Offer something new and interesting, make them feel special.

Make them want the product you’re selling. I know, that’s not easy with so many sceptical voices around. Be creative.

For example, you can add some hard facts to back your offers. Add some statistics, if you can. Add the expert opinion. People tend to believe high-profile individuals in industry.

Or just "increases chances or earning a commission" period. Most of us new marketers (like me) have never earned a commission from anything. Writing in this format helps get people to take action in a way other than spamming.

Most newbies get stuck because they want to swallow an elephant right away. Take it slowly, a bit by bit. Take action, do some writing - regardless how awkward it may seem at first - and get going. Once you get into the writing mood, everything else is much easier.

you left out conviction,
after you get their atention, and interest and create a desire to own. There is sitll that need to be convinced that making the purchase is the right thing to do before they will take action.
They might have a desire to want to make money online but until they are convinced that WA is that ticket, they won't buy it.

You're right JD, to some extent. Initially, AIDA method involved conviction under desire, though some strictly differentiate between desire and conviction.
Thanks for reminding.
