Are you passionate about something yet? Have you found what makes your mouth water? I know, it isn't going to happen over night. However, I hope that this training has helped you to begin on the right path to finding that passion!
I have three last things I want to cover before we go.
Information
Now that you have an idea what your passion is, begin to dig up information on it. Don't let your fears tell you that you are not an expert in that topic. We all have to learn somewhere. Just because you are a beginner does not mean you are mindless. You know enough about the topic to begin looking it up. Start learning about it. Get a feel for it. Try to apply it into what you are now doing. This is how we become experts. The thing is, you never truly stop learning. There is always something new to learn or do. So, just keep moving forward!
People
I have always let people run my life. What they think, what they want, how they feel. I know this is a character flaw in me. The fear is real but we can not let other people, or our perceived idea of what other people are thinking rule our lives. We have to step out and take a chance.
Situational
There are going to be times that you feel like you are in a situation that you feel you can not handle. Look deep inside yourself to see why you feel you can not handle it. Try to plan ahead of time for these situations then come up with solutions to how you will handle them. This will help to resolve the fear of that situation when it does arise.
All in all, I hope that you find this information helpful. In my search for my passion, I have learned I am a better writer than I thought. I know, my grammar can be bad sometimes, but I don't let my fear of trying stop me anymore!
Now, you get out there and find your passion! Find what drives you to do what you do.
When we search for our passion, we are really searching for our purpose in life, and as you say, conquering our fear or not letting fear get in the way is a vital part of it.
I have a slightly different take on "passion" which I convey on my WA blog - Do You Need Passion To Succeed.
Some passions are meant to be for us only to nurture our souls; and some passions are meant to be shared with the world, and, yes, maybe even become our livelihood or business. ~Jude
