2. Paint a Picture
Let's suppose you are about to publish a blog post about optimizing your mobile marketing. You want to create an introduction that will grab the attention of readers. What introductory line will grab the attention of readers more?
- ‘Do you love your mobile phone too much?’
- Or, ‘Does your phone get more likes than your girlfriend!’
Both statements convey the same message – people love their mobile devices. But the second statement paints a picture that the reader can relate to.
If you can find common ground with your reader and then use that to create a story that they can relate to, you will make your reader an active participant in the story through your content. Your reader will see the value in your words and feel that this piece was created just for them.
Make a meme, embed a video, create charts, graphs, or make something visual!
Images can not only break up the monotony in the text but they can also help tell stories better than words. Or, at least, they are more concise.
Visuals are more effective than words in telling your story, so you should consider using visuals instead of writing only. Your content will be more effective if it is easier for readers to comprehend.
3. Use Data to Show Impact
Sometimes, content creators need to get some help from Mathematics (or a foe) in order to communicate the importance of a point.
Infographics are powerful because they combine numbers and imagery to show how complex something really is. It's far more powerful than just writing it down.
Data doesn't always need to be backed by a designer in order to deliver a powerful punch. Sometimes the numbers speak for themselves.
You need to make sure your brand and content resonate. Your content should create an emotional connection. This will encourage your audience to choose your brand over others. Your content must create an emotional connection, shift perceptions, drive preference and eventually lead to a sale.
But don't stress! Although all these ideas might seem overwhelming, it doesn’t have to be difficult.
