LESSON 9: How do I cancel my free membership?
In case you missed it in Lesson 2, click on this "Account Settings" link to find your account settings page.
Scroll down until you see "Subscription Settings" and select the "Membership" tab.
Please note this is only applicable to the free (starter) membership.
You have 3 options to cancel your free membership.
Option 1: Do Nothing (Not recommended)
You can just leave Wealthy Affiliate and do nothing. Everything will stay in place until you return again, if ever.
You will still receive emails from Wealthy Affiliate in your inbox every day, depending on how many people you follow.
I do'nt recommend this option because I have seen so many people complaining they get "spam" emails even afer leaving WA.
If you don't mind receiving emails from WA then it would not be a problem for you.
Option 2: Disable Email Notifications (Highly recommend this option)
If you don't want to receive any emails form WA you can just disable the email notifications. (See no 2 in the image above).
Option 3: Remove All Your Data
I personally would not recommend this option, but it is a personal choice. If you know you are never going to return to WA you can remove all your data from the platform (See no 1 in the image above).

I find it very useful, especially to the newbies.
I remember when I joined WA, you posted a good one about Wealthy affiliate Bios. It changed my attitude towards building an affiliate marketing website as I was somewhat feeling uncomfortable to do it. But after following your advice, I began to see the online world differently.
