SumoMe is a tool that helps you build various forms and tools that will increase engagement, opt-in for leads, and eventually conversions. The tool offers advanced drag-and-drop functionality and I think this is one of the easiest to use email capture tools you can find.
Here are the things you can do using SumoMe:
(1) List Building
List Builder helps turn one-time visitors into lifelong readers and customers for you. The tool creates professional-looking pop-ups where you can time the appearance of the forms, i.e. having then show right before people leave your page!
(2) Time the Engagement
You can set up the form to show to engaged visitors perhaps when they have gone through a preset portion of your page. You can also use List Builder’s Smart Mode technology and show the popup at the precise moment when a a visitor is leaving.
(3) Customize Your Forms
List Builder offers complete control of the background/button color, text color, text font, and more. This means you can completely match your popup to the design of your site. Remember we are talking congruence here, an important psychological factor...That applies to your design of popups...
Mobile Responsive Forms
List Builder is mobile optimized. This means that it will look good on any device a prospect is accessing your sales page and funnel from. That is important.
Be Creative
Try to use some of your creative juices and the simple drag-and-drop versatility in creating a popup that is you and reflects what your intent is with your niche and sales page. Add in custom images, buttons, text and more—create with no limits.
Use A/B Testing (Pro Version)
This tool makes it easy to create different versions and test them to see which is more effective. You can increase conversions a lot by doing this -- and of course this means a bigger email list and down the road, more sales for you.
Use the Pre-Designed Templates
The set up is easy for the forms. Select what your goal is (there are four options), and select from dozens of pre-designed, professional templates tailored to hit that goal.
Use the Tool to Capture Your Most Engaged Prospects
With this tool, you can set it up to show different popups depending on the kind or prospect you have. Example: Are you getting a lot of traffic from Facebook? OK, set up a pop-up just for them. The more you tailor the popup, the better conversion rates you will get.
What Now?
Do a Google search for 'SumoMe" and sign up for a free account! Start getting your pop up forms created that will support your sales pages created with Elementor page building tool in Step #2!
NOTE: You can also download the WordPress plugin from the backend of your website by going to add new plugin and searching for 'Sumo". Here is what you will see:
Once you have signed up, you can start creating forms...
Here is a screenshot of the backend where you will start:
An Aside: Connecting With Your Email Provider
Notice you can also connect with the email autoresponder service you are using (IF YOU HAVE THE PRO SERVICE - OTHERWISE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND ADD LEADS MANUALLY TO YOUR AUTORESPONDER).
There are a number of free or low cost options you have to include MailChimp, MailerLite, etc. That is not the subject ot today's training, but is a subject worthy of investigating further. You will need one as your list and business grows....
Personally over time I have tried AWeber, GetResponse, MailerLite, and a couple of others. What I have migrated to is a front end dashboard tool that allows me to design forms and pages, plus segment my lists and move leads between lists.
That dashboard is integrated with an SMTP service that then handles the emails and campaigns I set up in the dashboard. This saves me a lot of money (it is one third as expensive!) and the more sales that we get and as we have more transactional emails and the lead numbers grow, the more I am saving.
Note: In the net step we look at the Icegram plugins to see how they can increase engagement and sales for you...These are free to use versions BTW (notice how we have not added ANY additional costs to your business yet?)...They have the same features that the PRO version of SumoMe has though, which would cost you money!
For now, let's finish with SumoMe...
Embedding Your SumoMe Forms Onto You Sales Pages
So back to the backend of SumoMe where you will create your forms...
(1) Select your goal (say it is 'Collect Emails').
(2) Select the form type, and since you will be using the form on your sales page, use the "In-line Forms" option.
(3) To create your form, select one from the many templates they have and the click on the example and portions you want to edit.
(4) In the 'Visibility' section, select "manual mode" and copy the code you see.
Paste the code into your sales page using a module you add in the page builder tool Elementor.
You are now ready to collect emails from your prospects and send out a series of emails to warm them and convert them into lifelong customers, and perhaps make a sale immediately too.
==> Next, Using the Icegram & Rainmaker Plugins...
I've been building up my WA based funnel foundation here, and hovering on the brink of shelling out for ClickFunnels, so I'm totally ready for your training.
Many thanks for this - it is sorely needed here...
