The Dilemma of The Black Puppets

I asked a question the other day about why the “black puppets”, as Loes calls them, show up when I share my posts on google. I was told to watch the WA LIVE Niche Case study by magistudios. I found my answer in week 3.

Now Jay was just doing a picture to be featured along with one particular post, and you could do a featured image for each post.

My thought was to do a featured image that would represent my site every time it was used. An image, that would become, over time, familiar to my friends and followers.

Next I will show you what I came up with and then, how I did it.

Hi Debby:)
Being an artist by nature, I know I am going to do this.
Thank you so much for sharing this enticing and clear step-by-step!

All the best:)

Clever idea. Its like a personal banner at the top of the frame. I guess the alt tag would simply be your website name. How will that effect the seo?

Thanks. I don't think it would affect the seo but you might want to check with someone who knows more than I do about that, lol.

Thanks for this Debby but would it get a bit repetitive ???

As just a featured image I don't think so because there are other images within the posts. If you think so you can do a new one for each post that you do.

Thank you Debby, I really liked this. So you keep that same image but change the text depending upon what site you are putting it on?

I only use this image for one site. But I use it for every post and page now because I have my site name layered over it. I will do something different for other sites.
