A caching plugin will:

 Load your website faster

 Enhance the user experience

 Reduce the strain on your server

 Increase SEO

 Reduce your TTFB (time-to-first byte)

Caching plugins can generate a static HTML version of your website that will be saved to your server. The plugin will display the lighter HTML version of your site to visitors whenever they visit it.

Many caching plugins claim to speed up websites. How do you choose the right one? It's almost impossible to know which plugin is the fastest. It depends on what website content you have, so one plugin may not work for another.

Despite this, there are certain caching plugins that excel above the rest. I spent time researching the top WordPress cache plugins.

The Best WordPress Cache Plugins

After reviewing many of the best WordPress cache plugins, I have narrowed down the list to five. These are the best:

 W3 Total Cache

 WP Rocket

 WP Super Cache

 Hyper Cache

 Comet Cache

Hi Jim,
Thanks for this tutorial. I have been using WP Rocket for quite some time now, and I’m very happy with it. I like how it does so much, it’s really an all in one plugin. It’s simple and easy for someone non-technical like me.

Hi Jenny
Do you have your site or sites hosted at siterubix?
If you do, are you able to say how much of a difference WP Rocket makes over the normal siterubix speeds, please?
:-)

Hi Richard,
I host my site here with WA, and have sitespeed set to extreme. My mobile speed is 98-99 and desktop is 100.
Individual pages are 98-99 for mobile and desktop 100.
Before WP rocket it was in the high 80’s for mobile.
