Keyword Stuffing
Keyword stuffing has a negative effect on SEO. The search engines are using aftificial intelligence to think like humans. So we should write naturally for real people and the search engines will understand what your post is about too.
Google is all about giving the searchers what they are searching for. If your post provides the best answer to a searcher's keywords then your post will rank at #1 on page 1. Please note that I said the "searcher's keywords". That's what your post is ranked on, not what you think is the "keyword". Google looks at the searcher's query and serves up the articles which provide the best answers to that query.
Ultimately, your posts may rank for more than one keyword. This is known as Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI). The more you write in each post the more (searcher's) keywords the search engines will find answers to. If your post answers more than one searcher's query (keyword) then you'll get better SEO results for more than one keyword.
You may not even have to mention the keyword, word for word, in your article. It's the answers to the keywords that the search engines are looking for.
The alt text is not the place for stuffing keywords to try and trick the search engines. So only include a keyword if it would make sense to your visually impaired readers.
Trying to trick the search engines will only result in getting your posts Google-slapped. Follow Kyle's instructions to "write naturally" and good search engine results will come.

To give you an example in an article about healthy vegan food I have a picture of blueberries and have titled it healthy vegan blueberries. Will Google not like this?
Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance for any response
Kevin
So far i have not noticed any negative effects but i will do what you said and write descriptive alt texts and see what happens.
thanks
Thank you for this great tutorial.
I use alt descriptions as you have indicated. Not only does it help with rankings, but more importantly, it makes me feel like I'm doing the decent thing of being fair to people who need to use the internet in a different way.
Best,
Alenka
