It is a good idea to implement lead tracking into your forms. This way you can see exactly where you leads are coming from within your Aweber account.

If you are adding an HTML web form to your page, you will be able to edit the code right within that form to pass through "tracking" to your aweber account. The example code within Aweber forms for tracking is:

The "home" indicates the ad tracking to aweber when someone signs-up via this web form. Each time they do, the lead will be "tagged" with this inside your Aweber account. Let's have a look.

Log into your Aweber account first, and click the following drop-down.

Then choose the segment "Added Today" to see the leads added today.

In this case, I found some leads and you can see under Ad Tracking the "home" data tracking code (as shown below).

Whenever you create a page with a new form on it, you could simply add another meta_adtracking ID so you can determine which opt-ins are producing the most leads on your site. This way you can track all traffic..., article marketing, SEO, social, etc and determine which page and offers are working out the best for you.
