Provide a Simple Way for Them to Subscribe to Your List
If popcorn is placed before me, it’s likely that I will eat that popcorn. But if I must be on the lookout or have to search for that popcorn…oh, it may not be that easy, anyway I’ll probably still do a search for that popcorn. So, your followers should definitely not be expected to be on a treasure hunt for your email opt-in subscription form anywhere.
What you should rather do is post your URLs and opt-in forms where they can obviously be found. Here are a few examples to go by:
- Facebook: Simply embed a tab on your Facebook page with a URL directing people to your signup form, or perhaps add a popup form directly on your page. There are email service providers out there that allow popup forms on Facebook pages.
- Instagram: Add a URL which links to your email opt-in subscription form to your bio, or simply embed it in a photo.
- Twitter Cards: Add your email opt-in form URL to your messages.
- Pinterest: Create clickable, pinned offers and promotions that lead your audience to an email opt-in form.
