Although the delaying effect could be infuriating, the awesome news is that it’s feasible to get out of it on time. Here are tips to help get out of the sandbox faster:
1. Get Indexed Fast
No matter how long ago your site has gone live on the web, it isn’t yet alive to Google until it’s got indexed.
If you want to know if your site or a page has got found by Googlebot, perform a quick search using the Google search toolbox. To ensure your site gets indexed fast, verify it with Google Search Console (GSC) and request indexing.
2. Get Social Signals
While it’s proven that social signal doesn’t impact rankings directly, it’s a pointer to Google that your blog is gaining some traction on social media. And with this, Google can begin to trust your site and present it frequently to users based on its relevance to specific search queries.
To start getting traction on social media platforms like Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook, build out quality and engaging content on your blog and share this on social media after hitting the publish button. So, you need to incorporate social share buttons into your site in order to start sharing content with the click of the mouse.
Another promising way to increase social media shares is by running Facebook Ads, even though I don’t use this method to get shares.
Each point will take me a while to get my head around but I'm working on it.
Thanks so much.
