Since researching your competitors is a business strategy, you should explore all means to learn about them.

Guess what? Social media provides tools and insights into how your competitors use social media networks to drive business. You can find out more about their online tactics, what keywords they use, and how they engage their followers.

You will also discover the results of their campaigns and look deeper into their traffic sources.

Before you invest in social media marketing, get detailed info on how competitors are using it.

6. Publish Posts and Engage Your Audience in a Consistent Manner

Social media marketing is a strategy that requires time and effort to produce the right results. The key is consistent and frequent posting along with engagement of followers.

For the posting, you need to have a publishing schedule or calendar and stick to it. If you decide that you will make 10 posts daily, stick to it.

Again, if you decide that you will only make one social media post a day, please stick to it.

Over time your followers will notice your post timing, and they’ll start looking forward to your posts.

On the average, I would advise at least 15 tweets daily, one post daily on Facebook, and 1 to 2 posts weekly on Instagram.

You can also engage your audience consistently by connecting in real-time and using their comments as feedback.

Respond to your inbox messages with the right answers to your followers. Ensure that you are a listening brand, and let your customers perceive your business as such.

With consistent posting and engagement, you will increase your brand's visibility and generate more leads.
