There is a very good reason why we use keyword research tools when looking for low competition keywords to use in our content. Because these tools, whether it is the free or paid Jaaxy, give us accurate QSR or Quoted Search Results. However many members of WA make the mistake of searching Google for these same results.

Do they not believe the QSRs given to them by the keyword research tool they are using? I often wonder, why would a member do this when we have access to the best keyword research tool, especially since Google is NOT a keyword research tool? If you did a keyword search for Make Money Online Fast you would find it had 5338 monthly searches and a QSR of 199, see below image.

Now that is not a bad keyword to use and most members would be satisfied with the results. But then there are those who think to themselves, I want to see what Google results says about this keyword. So they then proceed to make the mistake of going to Google, a search engine, and seeing what Google says. See the image below for the amount of results Google will display.

Why the BIG difference? Because Google is not a keyword research tool. It is a search engine and like all search engines it will display every single result that is a combination of the QSR, similar and relevant results, as well as LSI keywords of the keyword Make Money Online Fast. This will often confuse people and make them waste time wondering if the keyword tools are accurate.

YES, the keyword tool QSRs are accurate and Google is not. Even Google does not want you to use its search engine to find the accurate results of low competition keywords. Google has its own keyword research tool. So NEVER research your keywords in Google. Trust Jaaxy. The results are accurate and they save us a ton of time in our keyword research.

Great tutorial as always! But regarding LSI keywords, using them won't be against the rule of 1 keyword/1 post?

Thank you.

No, using LSI keywords will not go against the rule of one keyword per post because they are synonyms of the target keyword.

Example, if your target keyword was Samsonite Carry-On Luggage your LSI keywords could be...

Travel Bag
Hard Shell Case
Airline Carry On
Backpack
Rolling Luggage

Google uses LSI keywords the same way they do your target keyword, to know what your content is about without you having to repeat your target keyword more than twice.

Thanks Rob, I take your word for it :)
I think LSI keywords would come naturally within a well-structured and thorough content anyway, but it's wise to keep an eye on them.
It's my understanding that focus keyword should be in the title and somewhere in the first paragraph (or last?) and that would be it.

That is correct. This is why you always hear Kyle, myself and others say that the target keyword should be in the title and in the first paragraph. After that just write naturally.

When you naturally write out your content, and being aware not to mention your target keyword beyond the first paragraph, your content will "naturally" contain LSI keywords.
