4 Different Email Types You Should Send to Your Subscribers (And Why)

Email marketing is a popular channel for online marketing. It offers many benefits to bloggers. According to The Manifest, 69% of businesses spend their time and money on email advertising.

This can increase traffic to your blog posts and generate sales. Litmus conducted a survey and found that email marketing is a great way to generate sales. For every dollar invested in it, you get 42 dollars back.

We will be looking at some of the most common types of email and explaining how you can use them.

Let's get started!

1. Welcome Email

What is it? This is meant to welcome people to your email list, product, or course. It is important to understand why you require it.

For a reason, they say that you never get another chance to make an impression. Your welcome emails are a great way for your readers to get to know you, your brand and to set expectations for the future.

GetResponse's survey found that its open rate was over 82%, and its click-through rates are approximately 27%.

Emails are a great way to tell your story and build trust. You can increase your readership by setting up lead nurturing for future email messages.

How to Create An Effective Welcome Email

A catchy subject line is crucial for the success of your email. Subject lines are the only thing that readers use to decide whether they will open an email. These subject lines are essential for welcome emails. It's possible to keep it simple and say "Welcome on my mailing list". You could be a bit more creative.

Start by introducing yourself: You can establish a connection with your readers by sharing some personal information.

Say thank you to them: Show appreciation for their presence by saying "thank you". Aweber believes that "thank you" is the best word to use in an email. It adds personality and loyalty to your brand.

There is so much information here Roger, my head is spinning trying to take it all in.

I have always struggled a little (ok a lot) when deciding what types of emails I should send out, when and why!

This info has certainly made things a little clearer in my head in regards to what I have been doing right and more importantly, what I have been doing wrong.

Much appreciated as always my friend.
