3. Remove Distractions
Your landing page should be simple, clear, and easy to use. Don't include anything that isn't necessary. Keep it to the essential information that your visitors require.
If you can, follow these guidelines (and nothing else):
- Headline and subheadings
- Features and benefits
- Reviews and testimonials
- Context and visuals are combined attractively to show what you have to offer.
You have other options, such as video, social proof, and a live chatbox. But the main point is to eliminate distractions. Your visitors should only be focused on what you have to offer. This is one of many ways to increase conversions on your most important pages.
4. Share Testimonials or Reviews of Past Customers
No customer wants to be the first to try out an offer. You can help them relax by sharing testimonials and/or reviews of past customers.
You can add several logos to your homepage to instantly build trust with visitors. Consumers feel more comfortable with social proof.
Angie Schottmuller, a growth marketing expert, stated that "if quality social proof buffers notable uncertainty, you can expect some remarkable conversion impacts – in some cases, up to 400%."
Each page should include your reviews, testimonials, and logos.
5. Take the First Step Simple
Psychologically, humans are more inclined to complete things that are simple and easy than they are to finish them. The first step in preparing your offer should be simple.
Instead of asking for a complete form to be completed, simply ask for an email address. You can then complete the remainder of the form by requesting additional information. Your visitors will be more likely to take action if the first step is easy.
