Scents of Success!
WA four months in, and what a learning curve.
Help!
A couple of years ago I created ShayShayla an eCommerce home decor & gift store, I promoted it on Facebook and some Google+ but business was hard going and I knew I needed to do more, but what and where to start?
To look for answers I turned to my best friend Google! lol Eventually I came across an article about WA, Ummm I thought, could this be what I'm looking for, or is it just another pothole for my already battered cash? I was interested enough to sign up for the free account and have a look around, I'm happy to say that very quickly I felt this was a good place to be, I spoke to members in live chat who were awesome and it really was live and helpful chat :) it seemed that WA was as described and after spending many hours trawling Google I had not come across a program like this before, but I had wasted plenty of money in the pursuit :(
Lets Roll!
I jumped straight into Premium, no point hanging about I thought, a reduced price offer on the first month’s subscription meant I was happy to give it a go, if I was wrong I could just cancel and keep looking. I'd never thought about blogging before and don't consider myself creative, although I've always loved reading I've never felt comfortable writing, I've never even kept a diary, however WA has a very inspirational community and some great training, including Jay’s awesome weekly webinars, I soon felt confident that I could give this a go :) I was finally feeling excited about the future and all I could achieve.
Goodbye ShayShayla Hello AroomAroma!
It became apparent to me as I progressed through the training that I needed to make changes to my online business model that included a clear framework for the future and a plan to implement my goals.
The upshot of it is, AroomAroma, a new name for my store and scaled down to concentrate on home fragrance products, I’ve always loved the smelly stuff lol, so it seemed the obvious choice. I've also spent time moving my shop over to WA so that I’m not paying for two lots of hosting, and had to get my head around WooCommerce and Wordpress as I was using the Prestashop platform previously, not to mention finding the right theme..what a headache.
I finally settled on Natalie -I think lol- it’s a premium theme that I had free from Creative Market, which by the way is a great resource guys if you haven’t checked it out yet, have a look, they give freebies out every Monday!
Jay has taught us how important branding is for our business so I've extended my brand to my blog and chosen a natural fragrance with essential oils niche that compliments my online store. It’s early days yet and much more work to do but moving forward I would like to create a YouTube channel for my blog and publish some essential oil blending videos and ultimately create and sell my own fragrance products, so watch this space and wish me luck :) #onwards&upwards!
I'm loving the community here and long may I remain a part of it, Kyle, Carson, Jay and the team continue to impress with their ongoing commitment within WA and I’m continuing to learn more every day so I’d like to finish with a big THANK YOU to all you guys, Live Long & Prosper my Friends.

I think so. I have my site up but am working on adding products now. May I ask what theme you used?
