Amazon or Bust?
Hello everyone, I have been here one month and I'm on level 3 of training. I noticed it said Amazon is by far the largest affiliate program. Before joining WA, I built a website and was waiting for acceptence from Amazon. I recently get an email from them that after 6 months of no activity, my account was closed.
It seems to me there is very little comunication with them, like no reply emails.
Am I missing something? By the way, this is a great community here and a lot of helpful people.

Open a new Amazon account with different email.
Please observe their requirement for 3 sales within 180 days. If the site is not ready for monetization, it's better to keep creating content. Once it's ready, apply a new account with different email.

Amazon is huge retail site of course and one you can leverage. There are many niches that I have gone into and been very successful and have not used Amazon's affiliate program at all.
So by no means is it a requirement, nor should you ever feel this way. There are many (and much more) lucrative affiliate programs outside of the Amazon network.
