I can no longer log in. I get an error message.

I can log in, highlight my emails, send an email ; but can not open them. If it helps, I am a premium member who paid for the year
Thanks Steven...thanks for responding! I actually have tried both ways. Going through SiteRubix and the link. Sadly, I get to my email and am unable to open my mail. I need them,because I am in the part of my training to get affiliates and link them to my site.
I have contacted site support twice but have yet to even get acknowledged that I am in the system.
I am thinking about deleting the email but will lose the correspondence I have received. However, might be my only option.

I would go through sitesupport first in that case. You can also create additional email accounts for your domain. Alternatively you could have a gmail account to get stuff working again. You can also pickup your email through pop3 through other email accounts (such as gmail).
I have my email coming in to my phone (leaving a copy on server).
Is there any chance you got a popup blocker activated?
The emails you open, do tend to open in a new window. That means that the popup blocker blocks the email from opening.
Something to look into.

You have to go to webmail.
either by typing webmail.yourdomain.com or by going to SiteRubix - SiteManager - SiteEmail
also directly reachable here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email
And you can click login to one of your accounts there.
The username is the emailaddress and the password is given on the SiteEmail page.
If you have still problems connecting to your email, try the following:
1) Wait a couple of hours and try again - sometimes there is some delay or downtime because of maintainance.
2) Contact SiteSupport about it.
If the problem is related to accessing your email from your mobile phone or a different pop3 or imap client, there are tutorials for this if you search on the top bar. I am still creating one of my tutorials for it, so cannot link it yet here.

Double click is supposed to be working (works for me at least).
Maybe submit a ticket under site support.
