Business Opportunity Hashtags

Last Update: March 25, 2019

Hashtags for Online Business Opportunities!

Yes, are you on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or any other Social Media platform?

Then, you should now know that hashtags are a great way to share your message with the world and therefore grow your business.

What are hashtags?

Great that you have asked and I will share with you my thoughts on this question.

Hashtags are like keywords and are becoming in my opinion, even more powerful than keywords when used within social media posts.

What do You know about hashtags?

Some of the obvious hashtags for sharing business opportunity posts are:

  • #Entrepreneur
  • #WorkFromHome
  • #BusinessOpportunity
  • #WorkOnline
  • #SocialMediaMarketing
  • #NetworkMarketing
  • #InternetMarketing
  • #AffiliateMarketing
  • #OnlineOpportunity

While the above hashtags are great, they are also very used, unless you have a huge following using them will see little results.

What should You do in the event that you haven't yet achieved a large following and still want to achieve traffic to your posts?

Much like keywords and utilizing long-tailed keywords, You must use more specific and more targeted hashtags.

Below I will list a few that are a little less competitive:

  • #Dadpreneur
  • #Mompreneur
  • #WorkFromHomeDad
  • #WorkFromHomeMom
  • #AffiliateMarketingClasses
  • #AffiliateMarketingPrograms
  • #NetworkMarketingOpportunity
  • #OnlineBusinessOpportunity

While the above aren't as used and competitive, they are still quite hard to rank among other posts.

What should you do in order to rank higher in your posts?

Much like with your website and social media pages, you need to grow your brand!

It doesn't happen overnight but will happen with consistent posting, work and sharing, just like the famous 3 feet from gold story.

Have you ever heard about it?

Visual below :)

One thing that I've always wondered ...... Why is the visual above used when talking about being 3 feet from gold when it clearly show diamonds?

The story does indeed talk about a person who sold his property in order to travel across the world in search of diamonds. Ironically, the new owner found enough diamonds on the property to make him and his entire family for many generations very wealthy indeed!

Never, ever give up on your dreams and never, ever forget to look at what you are already blessed with and not what others have. Their grass may appear greener but no grass is as green as yours when you are grateful and see what you have.

Back to the Business Opportunity Hashtags .......

Start now in building your brand with your very own hashtags and grow the amount of traffic that your social media posts attract.

Instagram for instance allows up to 30 hashtags so my advice is to use about 10 of the most used hashtags, 10 in the 2nd category then about 10 that are much more specific to you and your business.

I look forward to hearing about your success in using the above advice as well as hearing about your experience in the world of sharing Business Opportunity Hashtags and how they relate to keywords.

Thank you for this post! I am realizing now how much there is to learn on social media marketing and I have barely scratched the surface. The 10/10/10 rule sound like a really good advice. I guess the next question is, how do you know which hashtags belong to the first group (most popular) and second group (mid-range)?

Hello Tony, your “3 feet from gold” story is dead on. I’ve done it so often. Now every opportunity I get to talk to my daughter about her progression in life I always stress on following through and staying focus on her goals, which helps me to stay focus. Keep up the good work my friend.

I did not know what hash tags were now I do I have used but not knowing that they are used in a business since . words such as Marketing Opportunity, Affiliate Marketing and many more. I am being educated and that what I want . I have been reading and studying but realizing that is the key a big part of the website business to get as much traffic as you can .

This is very useful. So, do you recommend using hashtags that are not used by hundreds of people and that would stand out more? For example, when I post on Twitter and I use hashtags, I can always see the number of times it has been used. If a hashtag has been used - let's say - 800 times, does that mean that if I post something using that same popular hashtag my post may easily get lost?

Hi Christine,

I recommend the 10/10/10 rule on Instagram my friend.

Because Instagram allows up to 30 hashtags, I use 10 that are very popular, 10 that are mid range then 10 that are more specific and targeted. (Much like long-tailed keywords)

Another way of putting it is that I recommend 33% of each level, so if you use 3 hashtags, use 1 highly usd one then 1 common one and 1 specific one more geared toward your brand.

As your following grows then you will also notice that your hashtags that you use can be geared more towards the more searched for.

Hashtags are much like keywords & in my opinion going to become even more relevant in searches online.

Let me know that this answers your questions Christine and thank you my friend for asking.

Talk with you soon,

Tony

That's very interesting. I tend to use the same hashtags on Twitter. I haven't used Instagram that much yet, but Instagram does seem to give more exposure. I am still getting used to using it. I will, however, apply your tips to twitter where I have my author account. I will let you know how it goes :-) And I should get more active on Instagram.

Thanks Tony, I get very confused about the number of hashtags to use. Some people say don't use more than 5 and don't use the same ones all the time - others say (and I see) use many more than 5. 10 seems to be about right. I'm worried that if I use too many it will look like spam and I will get blacklisted by IG.

As long it works you can use the same

I use the same 25-30 hashtags a lot. If those hashtags work for you use them.

I usually save the hashtags somewhere and if my picture is relevant to that those hashtags I copy and paste them.

Thanks for sharing Tony. You know I have often seen the picture and people referring to 3 feet from gold, never thought to look and realize that it is diamonds. Sometimes you see something so frequently you stop looking and assume. Thanks again for sharing Ray
