Promoting with an eBook

Creating an eBook is not really that hard. If you have been writing articles for a while you could combine your articles in your word processor and save it to a pdf file.

Once you have done that you could offer it as a free download for people who join your mailing list or post it to different sites.

Be sure to put this comment into the book on the bottom of the first page.

This electronic book may not be reprinted or sold and no portion of this book may
be reproduced without written consent of the author.
This book may be shared in its entirety for free.

On the last page of the eBook you can put you Bio and list your websites.

One thing nice about this is that people are looking for eBooks they can add to there website or give away.

Am following the guidelines in TJ Books e-book layout. A very good read too. Thank you for the share to prevent pirating my e-book or anything I create without my permission. ^_~2101/6/23

It depends on what software you are using to compile to pdf. I use Open Office and when I export the file to pdf a box comes up that gives me the options to set pass words.

You can require a password to open the book but then you will have to send that pass word to anyone that downloads the book. You also have the option to set up a pass word to edit the book. If you use this option the ebook will be secured and state so at the top of the ebook.
