Google Ranking
I'm really feel like I'm struggling with the keyword thing. I have read lessons on researching them and I've used different tools. Still I just don't feel comfortable with it. I feel like I'm not doing something right. I would like to get more traffic to my site. Maybe I'm not putting the keywords in the right places? Idk, I'm just not comfortable with it. Does this make sense? Does anyone else have this struggle?

I am in the same boat as you. I have got one post to go first page without google+ . Its ranked 8th out of 8 for that keyword. But I still play with it daily.
That's great. At least you got one post to rank on its own! Do you know why? Is it a keyword with very low competition?
Absolutely been here three and a half months and still do not understand it at all - now I just write and pick a keyword that is related to my posts and that is working
That is what I've been trying to do. If I share my posts on google plus then that shows up in a search but I would really like my actual site to show up. Maybe I'm just being impatient?
Yes, I've kinda realized that. People have to click into the post and then into my site. That's why I am working on trying to get my actual site to show up.
I'm not really getting it either, but I'm just plugging through trying to apply what I'm learning. Just pushing the I believe button for now. I'd love to get a more in depth training on this.
Me too! More training would be good. I read articles on it but idk why I just don't feel like I'm getting it. I'm a little technologically challenged lol so some of it goes right over my head. I sometimes really have to have things put very simple. I refuse to give up though! Going to write some more posts today and keep at it! Thanks for responding.
I'm actually a computer programmer by trade and I'm still not quite getting it, but I could be overthinking it as well. I guess time will tell...
