Hello, my name is Emily and this is my first blog. I am trying something new but it's so far out of my comfort zone and I'm letting fear take over. I've been sitting here all night trying to convince myself that I have nothing to fear but it really wasn't working!
It wasn't doing me any good to sit around stressing over my situation. So I decided I'm just going to do it! I went to every resource I had around me at the time and read as much as I could. I came across an article explaining fear and anxiety. And while I was reading the article I realized that this was more common than I thought.
Then I decided I wasn't going to make any more excuses and I was just going to breathe through the fear and do it! And if I could show just one person who lets fear stand in their way that it is a much better place on the other side of that fear then it's been worth it to me. Just the thought of possibly helping someone else gave me the courage I needed to move forward.
So I decided to jump in with both feet and I just it! It's OK that my blog isn't perfect because at the end of the day it's about helping one another and seeing each other through the difficult times.
I am proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone because it's been worth it! So whoever would like to follow me I want you to take my hand because we are going to do this together! Stand together and lift each other up because that's where we find our courage.
And to anyone else who is letting fear stand in their way my advice to you is just do it! Because THERE IS NO RIGHT or WRONG SO JUST WRITE!
