I just wrote my first blog and was informed Google indexed it. What does that mean and what do they do with it if anything?

That's the first step when Google finds our posts then from there provided we have written quality content worthy of our visitors your post starts to fluctuate up and down the scale till Google finds a permanent location for it. It is very important we always keep an eye on user experience and that our sites are navigational we are actually helping our visitors get to the content and research they need to make informed decisions to go purchase the focused offer we have anticipated would solve their issue. You will learn all this in the OEC coursework, but for starters take it a step at a time, it is not a race or competition. Hope this helps.

Hello, It means if I can find your Post on google. Google bots have "crawled" from site to site and found your post and are now on google search engine.

It was my first blog and probably not the best. I was worried about everyone here seeing it and now even more people will. I know this is a good thing but I wasn't ready for that.

Later your post would get ranked in due course, provided people are looking for the target keyword you used to write your content addressing issues in relation to your focused niche.

Indexing Vs Rankings
Your blogs at WA would also get indexed and ranked in the search engines pretty much like our sites. So if you writing qualified content and some folks landed on your WA pages and joined up WA, they get listed in your referrals tab and if later decided to upgrade to premium you get commission payouts as long as they stay premiums.

Hi Tmelville , nice to hear back regarding why does google index published content ..well, step by step...first, google work is whenever visitor search any information on its search engine now google scrowl (discover) this information through its bots/spider,here search engine knows that which website has this information ,match keywords, meta tags, content, title and keeps all data with Beta drive.
So, search engine crowling information first then...second, now search engine does indexing of websites, pages, content etc. with all differtent categories wise so this information comes on google result page.
