Writing a Blog...I've never done that before...what do I do?
Once I did my first blog, I started reading other blogs and they were all about different things, some very informative and some were inspirational and others were interesting but not necessarily useful. My second blog, I was really excited about, it gave people information about my progress, specifically, money making progress on WA. All money I've made so far is because I have followed, to a "T" WA's methods for success and the "Earn your First $50" training.
My third blog had absolutely nothing to do with anything, other than at that particular time, I was enjoying a lovely cup of coffee.
I realized, after my pointless coffee blog was published, that people see things in the internet in all sorts of ways. It might not matter what you are writing about, just as long as you are writing. The more you write, the more people see you writing, the more hits you get and the higher your rankings will be. While the majority of your blog should be about the topic of your blog, there can be the occasional mindless blog that just gives people insight into YOU. Who you are and who they are listening to when they visit your blog.

Hi thanks for your info on blogging. I've been writing journals for years, which has been fine because they are my thoughts for me, so I do find this a bit intimidating to write for others to see. :) Cheers!
Awsome, Point. I have been having trouble myself. I have my topic, iI have just never written content in my life before. Everything I ever wrote was leagalie.
Just start writing. I would actually recommend starting on the "Rapid Writer" as you can save your work without publishing it and go back and edit it later. I love the Rapid Writer tool that WA has. It's perfect. Sometimes I get started on a blog, and even with this one, I could have added so much more, but ran out of time, and wanted to put the information out there, so just hit publish. But this is also a good forum to test out your writing and get feedback.
Thank you for your post. How about this.... you will never know what it is that sets someone off, like you might be writing about an innocent cup of coffee and it becomes the revelation of the hidden niche, or perhaps an answer to a prayer of someone looking to start a new webpage?
What a great idea! I did read that a blog should be read more like you're having a conversation with someone, but I had interpreted that as talking about whichever niche you're in. I hadn't even considered going off topic like that but it seems to me your way is more personable! Getting to now the person behind the website style of thing - great stuff tldiebel

Hi, this is helpful to me, as i am just about to publish my first ever blog. I wonder if you could help me. I wrote my blog on going premium. At the end when about to publish, it said to add tags. Well, this might sound dumb, but I don't really know how to , or what they are for, and tags to what? I appreciate any help.
For your information I am giving the exact definition of tag as given by 'Word press'. "Tags provide a useful way to group related posts together and to quickly tell readers what a post is about. Tags also make it easier for people to find your content."
By putting a tag your blog will be classified within a particular subject and then any body can see that blog when they are interested to see blogs related to that subject. Hope you have got it.
It's simple, Lorriane. Just put keywords and phrases that you have used in your blog. For example, if you write about being a mom who wants to work online, your tags could be: work-at-home mom, work online, affiliate marketing. Hope that helps.
I see, thank you. I will do my blog now. All the best. I am following you.
I followed you, too. Good luck!
Thanks.
