What Have I Missed?
Now I really need your help.
I just can't seem to get this figured out on how to design my website. Word press confuses me too. I know what I want to do but using the options on word press isn't working for me. I have tried several times with no results. What am I missing!
So, I need someone to take a look at my website and tell me how
add some color, boxing, fonts and products to sell. I looked for an affiliate that represented items that match my niche, but it said my website had to be a working one??? So I don't have one yet. But that doesn't matter to me more than making my website looking good.

That would be great! Anything will help. I have been looking on Wix and learning some things. But they never mention wordpress at all.

I think you are trying to get ahead of the training, I did the same thing.
Just do one step at a time and it will slowly come together. Then you will how to go back and make the kind of changes you want.
For a specific question type it into the gray box at the top of this page (where it says need help) and it will link you to multiple answers.

Thanks for your reply. Which part of the training should I go back to. I think we need a whole lesson just on word press. This guy on You Tube has a lot more to work with than this one, it seems.
There is more than one way to get the same results, and the way one person explains it may “click” with you better than someone else’s explanation. That’s why I like doing a search in the “need help” box. You get multiple explanations and one of them will get you to your “aha” moment!

I'm very new to WordPress but have made enough mistakes that by default I seem to be beginning to understand how WordPress "thinks".
I took a look at your website - is the theme activated and published? I think once you do this go to "Visit Site" and see how it looks.
If it still isn't want you want I would suggest trying a different theme - one that has fewer bells and whistles like Hiero or Omega and see what you think.
If I had a dime for every time I changed my theme in the past 2 weeks I would already be a "wealthy affiliate"! :-)

I know the feeling! I have tried several times to get things to look like I want it. There just doesn't seem to be enough options like the guy I watched on You Tube. Thanks for your reply though, I will keep trying.
I'm learning that much of the functions and appearances are only available with a paid theme or if you upgrade to the pro version of the one you're using.
That's good to know. That's why I can't figure this out. I will check out pro and see if I can afford it, cause my website is just plane.

I just had a look at your website and it is ok. What I suggest if you go back to the training and keep moving through it step by step.as it will teach you how to add images to your site and all sorts of other things to really give your site the solid foundation for growth
Your site is very new and it will take shape if you do the training

After I had published this I went back to edit my mistakes, like that paragraph that is not connected. So I did it in word press and re-posted it. And it didn't correct it. Arrrrrrg!
