Website Foundation Built, Next: Grow It
(cover image: created with Copilot, prompt by Timotheus)
Hi everyone,
I've been following the Hubs training for my new website. The foundational aspects are essentially complete. I've gleaned some insights that I'm eager to share.
Sequence of Lessons Could Be Better
The lesson sequence could be optimized. Foundational topics should be introduced earlier.
For instance, the Gravatar lesson would be more beneficial as one of the initial lessons. Utilizing Gravatar to establish a new user profile for creating posts and responding to blog comments seems more practical.
Currently, the training (or rather WordPress) when the site is first created, defaults to 'admin' as the user, which doesn't seem ideal for visitors viewing blog posts or comment responses. A personalized name would be more appealing.
New Things Learned
Despite this, I'm pleased with the knowledge I've acquired. It's been enlightening, and I'm certain it will be advantageous when expanding the website's content.
For example, the use of Google's search results, the People Also Asked section, to augment the blog post content. This is brilliant! With content that addresses these questions, Google might find the blog post more relevant than just for the keyword phrase targeted for SEO (e.g. just the title's keyword phrase).
Next Steps
Looking ahead, it appears the upcoming lessons will focus on content creation. While I'm not entirely certain, that seems to be the direction. I plan to persist with the lessons in their given order and am excited about learning more.
How has your experience been with online business so far?
I wish you good health.

Great to hear from you again Tim!!
The layout of the lessons may not be perfect yet (but... perfection doesn't exist in my opinion as you well know)!!
But the daily and weekly updates rolled out here certainly show how the platform is evolving for everyone's best interest!!
I hope you are both healthy and wealthy moving forward into the new working week buddy!!
👍🙏
Thanks, Nick! :)
Yes, you are right. I don't expect perfection. But I hope feedback can help improve things. It's ok if it does not.
I am getting more and more healthy each day. Now, working on being more and more wealth. LOL
Have a great and productive week, buddy!
I wish you good health.
