Back to the Classroom: A Journey of Resilience and Joy
On Monday, 27 May 24, I returned to teaching.
As I step back into the classroom, the familiar sights and sounds fill me with an indescribable joy. It’s been years since I’ve been here, years spent in a tough battle with cancer.
But today, I stand here, grateful and cancer-free.
Every little detail, once ordinary, now seems extraordinary. Even this simple ordinary scene, sun casting its warm glow through the window, brings me so much happiness.
I’m excited to be teaching again, to be part of shaping futures. My journey has taught me the value of every moment, and I’m here to cherish and make the most of each one.
Thank you to everyone who stood by me. Your support has been my strength. Here’s to new beginnings and the simple joys that life brings.
