Sage Advice For Online Marketers!
I think we all know what it feels like when we first start in Online Marketing. We are super excited, cannot wait to get that blog built, join many affiliate programs, super charged about thinking of the positive results etc.
So, we set off at a franatic pace, thinking we will get everything done at a great rate of knots.
However, what sometimes happens is that we begin to realize that it is a much bigger job than we first imagined. Our excitement can start to wane and we can feel not so excited.
Self-Doubt can creep in and along with that the negative thoughts and emotions, our heads telling us that we were silly to even contemplate such a move on our own.
So, what is the answer?
There is.
"AN INCH IS A CINCH".
" A YARD IS FAR TOO HARD"!
OK, forgive me but I love quotes.
BUT, what if you did small (inch) consistent and persistent actions, in your Business every day.
NOT, trying to tackle the lot in 5 minutes (Yard).
That inch every day would be a Foot per Fortnight, (give or take) and you will see steady results.
Because Life still happens, and you cannot sit at your computer all day every day. So may a plan at the start of the week of "the inch" you will accomplish every day. Then after each week reward yourself for the effort you have expended.
Cheers,
Tim.

Now that is a great thought. I didn't start off trying to do a bunch in a short time. But eventually I did realize that if I was going to succeed I would have to be more regular.
So I am moving an inch at a time, but that's ok I am moving.
Thanks for sharing.

I love those quotes, Tim - duly noted!
'Slow and steady wins the race' is another one I like, not that we're in a race against anyone here, especially not ourselves.
It's the small, manageable amounts of activity that we do - or should do - daily that determine how successful we will be.
Working at a manageable pace makes it easier to develop the habit of doing a bit every day.
Not only is it good personal development, but having a regular schedule of content publication on our websites is what makes the search engines trust and rank them.
Far better to do this than to hammer out tons of content and then do nothing for weeks on end, as I've discovered in the past.
Have you read 'The Slight Edge' by Jeff Olson? There's no better book on the importance of those little daily disciplines.
Cheers
Rich :-)
Absolutely Rich. You answered everything I was saying.
Very well said, Sir!
