Take Awesome Product Photos
Today's blog post is a little bit of fun in honor of Halloween :)
While most computers nowadays have web cameras built in, not everyone has one. And those who do have some quality issues with their still photos on their web cams. Too grainy, too dark, and too yuck.
It makes it difficult if you want to take screen captures of yourself or the things you want to show your website visitors.
I've had this idea that I want to be able to take pictures of the products that I'm reviewing in my blog posts while I hold them up in front of the computer. I feel like it would lend more credibility to my product reviews if people can actually see me holding the product than just some stock image of it from Amazon or something like that. I also don't want it to look too cheap like some sort of low-grade selfie. I don't have a web cam because my computer is pretty old school so but's it's been on my mind lately.
Well anywho I've been searching high and low on the internet for some software or online service that would fit what I was looking for and today I finally found it :)
And the technology behind the pictures is nothing short of amazing. It's an online picture service that you can use right from inside your browser. It has outward-capability to capture the area in front of your computer or laptop monitor without even having to download any software. It's a simple couple of mouse clicks and your done.
And the photos themselves? The quality is super amazing. I don't even know how they do it. I've spent a better part of today (far too much of it in other words) taking high quality still photos of myself and the cloth diaper products I use. The colors and the resolution are so sharp and clear they don't even need editing after the picture gets taken.
I am absolutely in love with this technology and only wish I could have found it sooner. It's going to make my honest product reviews a whole lot nicer when I can show my website visitors the actual products I use in glossy, full-color, perfect resolution stillness.
I highly recommend that you give it a try. Try just snapping some test photos of yourself or get your products together that you want to endorse and start snapping away.
Until next time Lovelies,
Snap a pic...and make some money online :)
