Very often I receive a follow from a new arrival that has no picture, no name and no detail at all.
This is very frustrating because, actually, you are expected to reply to an unknown quantity.
The folk here at WA are a very helpful group and would like to at least know your name and why you are here so they can help and advise you if necessary. However, if you do not know who you are dealing with, that is very difficult to do.
Take the time to go and look at the pages of new arrivals and from the comments of the established members, you can immediately see how they are perceived and received.
If you are here to learn about Internet Marketing and you are hoping to build a successful business, then you need to present yourself as well as you possibly can. After all, you are expecting some help and guidance from the older members and no one is particularly interested in assisting someone they know nothing about.
It might also be an indication of how serious and committed you really are to making a go of things here and I do not believe any person is overly keen to spend time helping someone who is ultimately really just wasting time.
So come on Newbies! Try to be more positive and give us some details about yourself. We do not need to know if your grandfather’s, sister’s, hairdresser’s second cousin’s friend has ingrown toenails, but we need just the basics, at least.
Don’t be shy, tell us a bit about yourself.
If you are here to promote some new “Shining Object”, then I must ask you not to do that please. You know and I know that it does not really work.
Do yourself a huge favour and at least introduce yourself properly and add a picture of yourself. No one is going to poke fun at you. We would like to help you where we can.
