Day Five I have completed OEC level one and looking forward to some feedback.
My question today how do you determine the viability of a niche blog.
While idenifying interests and passions it fuels enthusiasm to want to follow up but if Google trends showed a decreased interest would you still follow up?
Can you advice on how else I can research my competition. I am learning about Jaaxy but is there other tools I can use to determine viability, and may be the profitability of a niche blog.
How would you test your idea?

Hi Mikey, I wouldn't look only at Google Trends to determine the viability of my niche. I actually wrote two blogs on how choose a profitable market and niche. I will add the links for you in a bit.
So far as researching both your target audience and competition Facebook Audience insight tool, Semrush, Similarweb and UbberSuggest are the tools I use to do this.
All of these can be used free of cost to find your competition.

You can also use the Google Keyword Research tool to know if the niche is viable. The amount of money being spent in that niche would be the indicator. You will see it when you type in your keywords in the Keyword Research Tool.
