Online Traffic Issue

The biggest issue for getting traffic online is saturation and suppression.

There’s too much noise online, so the probability of getting the multiple exposures that are necessary to build the relationship are rare.

There is also the censoring of content that might have a certain word that is forbidden by the platform so the content is never seen by a human.

I’ve been stepping off the internet using Direct Mail Postcards sent to my prospective clients with a message and QR code that by passes the censorship control of the online social media platforms.

It's only .37 cents per contact and a postcard lasts a LOT longer than an email or a post on social media platforms.

Early on in sales it was letters but it was determined that many went directly in to the circular file better known as the waste basket. Then along came the postcard and it became very popular because of the Picture and it presented itself already opened. People were more likely to view the Front & Back. The image of the front will last in one's eyes for a long time when well done. It was a very successful way of producing sales particularly if you were able to qualify the target audience.

I did that when working as a bookkeeper for a small landscaping company. Dealing with outdoor kitchens, walls, patio's, fish ponds, small water falls etc.. Some jobs could cost as high as $100,000. I would get a mailing company to produce labels from surrounding towns with the following criteria: Home values valued at $750,000+ on public records, Occupant is home owner & some other items that I can't recall right now. The owner designed a 3 fold brochure with pictures (11" H x 4.5" W folded) throughout and we sent those out First Class Mail. It was a beautiful piece that Projected Professionally done. The first time we did it we got a lot of nice jobs. We did this mailing in early spring every year because of the seasonal work. Before the next mailing the owner made a book approximately 50 pages (Soft Cover 8.5 x 11") of all significant jobs in full color. When people made appointments after the next mailing he would take 1 of the books for them in the meeting.
We would get a new set of Labels every year because of the changes that would occur.

I help create a winter routine for snow removal using Google Earth. We could calculate the area's requiring snow removal so we could submit a proposal without being asked. It worked very well.

Nice idea Brad :)

That's a great way to go, Brad!
