Is blogging saturated?

On average, it takes about 4 hours to write a good blog post. The average reader spends 52 seconds reading a blog post. There are approximately 600 million blogs in the world in 2023. The average blog post length is 1,416 words in 2023.

And NOW we are in to 2024 and AI has become the New SPAM.

With AI we can make a blog post in less than a minute. The bloggers across the planet are going to be re-churning content from the past and reposting it. I can’t imagine the number of keywords that are going to be plastered all over the Internet in a single day.

The Internet is so plastered with information, disinformation, and misinformation that it is almost impossible to find the article that you just read a minute ago.

Is SEO even a good way to spend our time?

What are some other ways you are driving qualified traffic to your offers?

You bring up topics to think about. However, as long as there are readers in the world, I think blogging will continue to flourish. Perhaps the many folks involved will force us to improve if we wish to continue. but that is a good thing.

I think the effect of AI still remains to be seen. I use it, but don't just repost the "blog" I get from AI word for word. I still do some of my own research, and use just what I feel is best from AI. Not sure if this technique is helpful or not, but it at least keeps my posts mostly in my own voice. To me, that is preferable to just regurgitating what AI gives us.

Hello Brad,

Thank you for your blog post, Brad. I trust that you're doing well.

You have made some interesting stats, Brad, I also know where you're coming from!

As you know, I have always had some reservations about AI, however, Wealthy Affiliate does teach us the correct way to use AI. In other words, as a helper rather than a writer. The fact that we can write blog posts quicker, probably just means that instead of having one hundred quality posts on our website, we now need a thousand posts to be found on Google! These aren't stats, it's just my example.

Even when I read blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate, I am seeing AI language used all the time! Writing needs to be unique and genuine and from the heart.

I think the answer is Brad is to carry on writing genuine quality posts about subjects we know about. I also believe that YouTube is another good way to promote our brand. I can see a lot of people being caught out soon when Google discovers a lot of AI rubbish!

All the best to you.

Roy

For clarity, Is Blogging Saturated with AI-Generated SPAM? H-E-|-| YES!

Another kindred spirit... AI Content is going to be the death of Google.
"Why Google It" and search through garbage, when you can ask ChatGPT to Answer it? I have several posts about this on my website, internally here, and on Medium.

But when it comes to SEO, it is going to be more important than ever. AI is going to skim through your post, grab what "it" thinks is your keyword(s), and move on. If your on-page SEO is not blatantly obvious, you will stand a chance to lose out on everything you intended.

Google Search is Dead. But Google's mission will continue. They are the best at indexing content according to what you intended. Unlike BING and Yahoo! which simply catalog your words, as your intent, Google is a master at indexing based on intent. This will continue, long after we forget "Just Google It!"

Your SEO keywords are still the keys to the kingdom.

Agreed, Brad. It is definitely saturated.

Myra ♥️

Agreed!

As for your question:
Local is best way to focus and then expand...
