Hello everyone San here,

On this day in history a very gruesome thing occurred and it gave birth to a hate that is still alive today.

1934 - "Night of the Long Knives" Hitler has everyone who stands in his way to power in the Nazi party murdered, all in one night.

This night lives in infamy, not because of it greatness, but because of what it gave birth to. An evil empire was being formed and this was its beginnings.

The hate that was the Nazi's still lives with us, not on the scale that it did during the time of Hitler, but it still lives. I lost many relatives to this hate and I do not wish for it to ever come to power again.

I am always always at your service,

San

Works of the flesh are listed as anger, wrath, malice, bitterness and etc. Shows that out natural self is bent towards an evil intent though some less than others.

I agree, I believe many people just like to stir the pot so to speak just to see if they can get others all riled up.
I am just glad the majority of us see it the other way around.

The TV never let's us forget it, it's always a reminder.

Yes, we must never ever allow it to happen again, no matter the cost.

Sad commentary but very true. It is always unbelievable to me how different groups of humans treat other humans. For a human race, we seem to be very inhuman. Sad post but a good one.

Sadness seems to be a way of life for many Larry, I have never understood it, but then it is in the mindless following of a leader who is insane that is often the cause, just as in this case.

Unfortunately the scale is increasing.

Yes, hate seems to never leave us as a people, I mean the world, no matter how much peace others may bring there are always those who just want to hate for hate's sake.
I feel sorry for them, they will never know the peace of love and tolerance.
Thanks Helen.

And I feel very sorry for their victims.

Beyond words with that one, I have never understood hate and I guess I never will. The countless nameless faceless victims list grows everyday, I mourn for their souls knowing their last moments on this earth were spent in terror.
