Inflation Gave Me a Raise
About 4 months ago I wrote a blog called "Do You Remember My Lucky Water Bottle", here is the link.
Do You Remember My Lucky Water Bottle?
This water bottle is the most important affiliate product ever made from my point of view as it started it all. I got my very first commission by accident because I placed a link within a post unrelated to water bottles. Within an article about Heat Exhaustion, I selected a random anchor "stay hydrated" and attached a random water bottle link to Amazon to it. This was and remains the ONLY link in that article.
I highlighted in my post that when someone clicks that link and purchases that water bottle. I clear an outstanding $0.39 commission!
A Passage From My Lucky Water Bottle
I am very thankful that link creates a 24 hour cookie that generates sales when clicked, even if they do not purchase the bottle. It has worked very well for me.
On December 1st, someone actually purchased this bottle on that Amazon account. I logged on to see this!
Inflation Bump
Instead of a measly $0.39, I now make $0.40 for every water bottle. It seems inflation prices has given me a raise!
I am sorry to keep reporting on this silly water bottle, but since it was the first sale I ever accomplished, it will forever be remembered and very special to me. And now that I got a raise, it becomes even more important to me. It has even triggered me to check my other Amazon accounts to see if other products have raised their commissions as well.
Which brings me to my next point.
Amazon accounts
I have a question for everyone. Am I the only person on this earth that has an Amazon account for every site they maintain or do you just use 1 single Amazon account for everything? I created one and used it for everything at first, then separated my sites and created it's own account so I can track traffic vs sales.
Am I just weird or does anyone else do this?

I love the water bottle story, Michael! It proves one post can live on for years and make bits of money that can add up over time.
I have one account for three websites. I love it when people click on a link to buy a $20 tool and also buy hundreds of dollars of other stuff.
Sometimes they don't even buy my suggestion but something else. I love that 24-hour cookie better than chocolate chip cookies! 😂😂
Better than Chocolate chip cookies, especially when fresh out of the oven, is debatable, but I hear you!!!! lol

Pillsbury has the solution, my friend. They make Microwave Cookies. Just pop in and allow the magic to happen. Hot and Fresh.
You should see how small my microwave is! I guess a few at a time or perhaps my Ninja Foodie. Hadn't thought of that option. 😋
Well, As a Big Guy and Professional Eating machine, Where there is a will, I will always find a way!!!
Somehow, I'll get there, Michael.
Nothing has worked out for me this time around. I am disappointed, but not destryed.
See you later.

I only use one for both my sites. It’s not that hard keeping up with all my “tons” of sales atm. 🤣🤣😬
The few sales that were made, I can tell which site they came from by seeing what was ordered.
I have faith in you! You will eventually get the "Tons" of sales. Just keep at it and never give up!

I have one Amazon account and one niche that I use it for.
When is a water bottle not a water bottle? When it is a cookie!
I was a little miffed when I started selling items wholly unrelated to my niche, but I quickly got over it when I realized the value of just getting people to Amazon.
Long live the water bottle!
Water Bottles Rule!
That's a fine water bottle! Is it stainless or aluminum?
AI-Generated model. I will ask My image creator to specify! lol
Haha, it's still awesome.
I may have some made to give away to referrals for joining.
Another idea was born.
It is an excellent gift of hydration and a reminder to keep after the online business prize.
