The Human Touch: AI Consulting with Heart

I've been thinking about becoming an AI consultant. I might be up for it. (Notice I said Consultant, not Expert!)

There are many opportunities as businesses scramble to figure out how to use AI tools, from ChatGPT to who knows what else, to get an edge.
I could coach folks on integrating the new tools to maximize productivity.
I've been discussing this idea lately and am excited by the potential. I could market to my current coaching clients so I wouldn't start from zero. A short pilot program could get some quick wins and do a few pro bonos to test things out.
And since this is still a new field, I can position myself as a leader.
If I can get the skills to ask the right questions and understand a client's needs, I can thrive as an AI consultant. I've always thought the solutions are inside people already; you must help draw them out with the proper perspective.
In researching this, I learned there's no blueprint for an AI expert. But at a minimum, you need to grasp intensely how the tools work in practice. Have some statistical or mathematical chops to maximize them. But what about those of us without a PhD?
Good old-fashioned experience goes a long way - it shows you can build solutions with AI that get results—and client stories to back them up. And ideally, become known as the go-to pro for a specific niche.
Like any field, I'd have to stay on top of the latest developments as AI evolves at warp speed. But I'm up for the challenge if I set my mind to it and put in the work.
Who knows, I may crash and burn. More prep may be in order first. But I'm excited by the potential here, and I could make a real contribution to offer clients in this space.

The AI tools, here at WA, are mid blowing. The one AI I got blown I way by is the AI author. I enjoy reading the content that it is producing, and I think that is a good sign.
Never want to look back at the old ways of creating content, and building an online business anymore!

Some SOPs may be as a tripwire/appetiser for the most common use cases to whet a new prospect's whistle.
Lots of AI products that would probably pay an affiliate commission e.g. I just came across SpiderNow on AppSumo - crawls your website and helps resolve technical on-page SEO issues so your posts can index and rank better.

Thanks for that; I have gone over AppSumo to check your bit. Lately, I have been involved with the NeuronWriter, but I am still learning it. Thank you, I appreciate the encouragement. I agree it is a super-growth area.
I only use Neuronwriter for the Latent Semantic keywords to add to my blog posts. Since I already have Rank Math Pro, the scoring is already included. I hope Neuronwriter helps in addition to the other AI that you use.
Yeah, not a bad idea at all Abie! Why don't you create a blog in parallel (AI related) to carve yourself out as an expert within this space. So then you can showcase your authority at the same time, and of course you can leverage the tools here (hubs, designer, authors, etc) to efficiently build out your business. ;)

As much as I value a PHD or any comparative degree, experience trips the lot.
I have had teachers who have had Dip ED and they were hopeless in the classroom. And I have had people without a degree who have been fabulous ( you can get away with a lot in Vietnam) in the classroom.
The only reason I like degrees etc is that it shows commitment.
So go for it. If you have that itch, give it a good scratch.
