flippa costs
Just looked at costs involved for Flippa , correct me if I am wrong :
Listing fee $29
Success fee 5%...minimum pay of $10...so any sale less than $200 will pay the $10.
So if you sell a site for $100, you can expect costs to be $39????
If that's the case...WOW..WOW..WOW...39% of your money gone already.
Add in the cost of domain name purchase : $7 - 10 and it doesn't leave much meat on the bone for sellers of lower priced sites....
As a break even you need a site to sell for $46 or thereabouts!
How many hours would you think it takes to do the kw research/preparation and listing....??
What sort of return on the time spent as an hourly wage would you think??
It will be interesting to see what sort of price Jay's site reaches!!

Jay ran out of time and didn't get close to talking price and costs. He said he'd post a seperate webinar showing what he was doing after the public webinar stopped. Hope that makes sense.
YEah I heard they had upped it from $19 but I really struggled to find their actual fee list. But yeah, I think their prices are over the top. You could argue its to help stop low value sites being flipped, but that affects a large number of genuine users plus a large number of people flipping crappy sites.
I can't see webinar I see close lock on the top right side ,is this may be the couse ? please some body help me this is the therd time Iask about?

I thought Jay said in an older WAbinar that it cost $20 to list a site on Flippa. Price increase since then??? He didn't mention cost yet in the Live Case Study. He got to Flippa and we can see the listing there as he enhances it. This he is going to do after the wabby but I don't see anything on his blog about it yet - but it's still early the next day so....
Speaking of ROI and costs...what if you don't sell the site? Then you're just out the bucks.
Can't answer all your questions, but yeah I heard Flippa had upped it the fee and confirmed it's now $29 a pop. I don't no what happens if you dont sell, but if its like Ebay, yeah you lose the listing fee.
