How To Handle Lack Of Motivation
How to deal with the failure to be motivated
There are a lot of reasons why it’s possible you’ll feel that your business and/or career is barely holding on, but the same goes for relationships that you’re going to have. The important thing to finding motivation is to stop trying, because the harder you try, the tougher it gets.
Keep in mind that lack of motivation is purely in your mind. You can develop and grow to consistently be a very motivated individual, if you want to. We are the only conscious entities on this planet that can "turn up" or "turn down."
The secret is you deciding to be motivated, not you seeking out motivation. For most people motivation comes naturally, for others it is not so easy. The thing is that people who haven’t got motivation are individuals who mainly like humor, joy, and distractions. Motivation requires focus and commitment. The next time that you simply begin to feel uptight and disengaged in your pursuit, stop whatever you're doing, take your time, and focus on doing something else. Create space- it's time to unwind.
In your business or job, the key to developing motivation is becoming passionate. Find opportunity in adversity and do your best. If you aren’t passionate about whatever you’re doing, then why are you doing it? I'm not saying quit your job or business venture from reading this article. That's being irresponsible. What I am saying, however, is just like a relationship with a person, you may need to rethink, re-frame, and rekindle enthusiasm in whatever you are currently engaged. Challenges and adversities build your skills in applying motivation so you can move forward.
Finally, enthusiasm is the catalyst for motivation. Becoming enthusiastic is directly correlated to motivation. Usually it is your damaging thoughts, emotions, and vibes that hold you back and demotivate you. Understanding this will empower you. You'll start seeing what's in your way so you can "turn up" to get motivated and stay focused on your goals, dreams, and aspirations.
