First niche!

As I was going through the training, I stalled for a very long time on what will be my first niche. So thankful to this awesome community for answering my questions and to @littlemama and @kyle in helping me brainstorm.

I think once we have our niche, it is a great starting point. Without it, I found myself jumping back and forth.

First Blog

I am 21 or 22 days old here at WA! After having just completed Level 2 in WA training, I thought I'd share some thoughts here! Yes!!! I finished Leve 2!

I'm not a blogger by any means, but blogging is something that has been on the back of my mind. I guess, I was put in this business to actually start blogging! LOL.. As a long distance runner, I get asked for race recap/report after a race. I do it every once in a while, but I tend to use and post my photos with fun captions tell the story.

First Running Shoes!

Just like when I first started running, I asked few people including my run coach who have been around in the running community for many years, on what is the very first thing I need to do before I start. All gave me the same answer, was to invest in a good pair of running shoes. Second, go to running store and get fitted. Long story short, my first pair of running shoes served me the first 300-350 glorious pavement and trail training and racing miles before I retired it! It was my foundation that first year.

It relates so much in what we are working to achieve here at WA. Our foundation is important to what is ahead of us -a successful online business! Our first niche, our first blog, and (at least in my sport), my first pair of running shoes. And if I may add, our first website is part of our foundation!

And Oh! Pictured above was my first pair of running shoes from a few years back! :)

What a great post about foundations. This is a very encouraging post it tells us about how important the foundation really is. Thank you so much for this post I really enjoyed reading about it.

We all need that foundation to build a successful business. Your business is only as strong as the foundation is.

Mary

Thank you Mary for the kind words! Glad that it encouraged you.
Best of everything.

Terri

Mary

Nicely done Terri!

Keep up the good work!

Godspeed!

Thank you so much!

I love your presentation! So very glad the internet cannot produce the smell of the old shoes...haha ! Welcome to the team! I think relating this to cross country is very good to avoid sprinting. If you work through it too fast, you miss some things. I'm still going through boot camp, but reviewing prior lessons to see what I'm missing. I think even if you memorize all the bells and whistles here, it is still a great challenge to put it together pleasing to people. Take your time. Building rapport is a long term process, so in short don't run too fast speed racer.
Best Regards,
Nurse Becca
