As you are not a US resident then you need to fill out a different tax form when you apply to be an affiliate of most companies. It's the non-US resident form (I forget the actual name). They will then ask for your own Ugandan tax ID .

Re PayPal - is your PayPal account personal or business? I have both personal and business PayPal accounts. You may need to use a business PayPal account for your affiliate payments. Check with PayPal to see which type of account you need so you can transfer cash to your current Ugandan bank account.

I know quite a few people who face similar issues as you and what I find most of them doing is working as affiliates in alternatives niches. Such as Gambling, adult entertainment, freelancing, network marketing and other niches where paypal omits itself.

Oddly enough most of the networks that don't pay using checks or payoneer give the higher payouts. Don't let paypal discourage you in fact if you figure out a way around your problem you'll be an inspiration for those that come after you; as you can share your story which will help people from your region to fast track their way to success.

I would actually say quite the contrary, MOST affiliate programs offer cheque payment and you will be receive these to any country in the world. Paypal is usually a secondary payment form Joshua.

I would not be too concerned at all.

Try make acounts on Solid Trust Pay, Payeer or OK Pay. I work with them in paralel with PayPal and they are ok. I hope one of them will accept your country as eligible.
