Apparently I wont make money with WA since it's free
This morning I woke up to very interesting message from another internet marketer on my facebook.
He told me that I wasn't going to make money with my website or WA since it is free. I admit for a second I got mad, then I started to think to myself, why would this guy message me and tell me this out of the blue like that?
then i thought back and I remembered me and this guy had a conversation a few weeks before I went premium here at WA, I was going to join up under his team with some program called Xplocial, but decided not to because I realized I had better options.
Plus the program had some crazy up-sales, and I thought why would i join a program where I would have to pay for these up-sales like (silver, gold, & platinum) just to have access to the entire thing where at Wealthy Affiliate I can pay a one time monthly fee and have access to everything there with no up-sales!
Anyway The guy started to go on saying that I was "scared" to pay a little extra money and was basically trying to make me feel like I made the wrong decision by joining WA, He actually started to brag saying that he was making 8k a month or what not.
Now i'm not going to call him a liar because maybe he is doing that, I really don't know, but what I do know is, he's making money off promoting someone else's business and that's all he is limited to. Yeah I know i'm promoting WA at the moment but i'm not just limited to that, WA teaches you to become and entrepreneur and run you OWN business, the Affiliate program is just a plus +
so I tried to tell him that, but the conversation really didn't end well and i didn't feel like arguing so I just left it alone.
so to sum it up do you have any thoughts on this?
do you feel like he was right ?
is WA affiliate being free a bad thing?
Can I earn a full time income just from pomoting WA ?

Tayshaunh, I know you know this by now, but I'll say it anyway. You have the full support of an ENTIRE community here. No one is going to let you fail. This community is unlike any I've ever seen. Reading this, I understand your anger. My first though, "Ah, Hell no!" You can make money this way easily once you get in the groove of things. Is it easier than other options? The jury is still out on that, but I believe this method is easier if you pick the right niche for yourself, and if you enjoy what you're doing through this. You did the right thing by just letting it be. Getting upset over it any longer would only sow yourself down. He doesn't deserve that credit! WA is here for you!

I made coming here because it just feels right being in a community like this where I know that if I need help with anything I can get it from anybody with the knowledge, I'm honored to have the support of the community which is why I am still here :)
WA gives you all the teaching/videos/discussions/blogs that may help you become an entrepreneur. When I become successful with my website I will still remain loyal to WA as they helped me become successful(which is all of you guys) but thayt is just how I am....
You are in a great place Tayshaunh. You have all the help you need right here. The only thing holding you back in this WA community is your own dreams and ambitions. Go for it and enjoy the experience here.

i'm glad i have the support of fellow members in the community which is why I know i made the right choice, you won't get this anywhere else to my knowledge.
I have been seeing the Xplocial program pop up in my newsfeed a lot lately... and a whole gang of people in the Xplocial will then comment on the post talking it up and ripping anyone who says anything otherwise.
You might make a short-term profit with companies like these, but the bottom always falls out on them eventually.
You made the right choice by coming to Wealthy Affiliate if you are serious about making it in the online business world.

I knew xplocial was just another one of those programs that aren't long term and only cater to the people at the top of the pyramid.
I was interested in running my own business which is why i joined WA, I know only good will come out of my experience here as long as i stay motivated and ambitious.

Great post Tayshaun. I wouldn't worry much about this guy. Let me ask you something. When you answer this you will know the answer to your questions. How did you become a member of WA? How many more people in the world would like to have something like WA?

to answer your first question, the way I became a member of WA was by doing a lot of research on programs out there that are really interested in helping other people succeed in online business
To answer your second question, i'm sure a majority of the people trying to make money online would absolutely love to have something even close to WA.

This person who you were talking to has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, and you've made ABSOLUTELY the right decision in being part of Wealthy Affiliate.
This person who you are referring to most likely has ZERO Business and makes nothing online. Wealthy Affiliate has what every other program in the world doesn't have.
We have training that is updated and added daily. Support and coaching that you can get answers literally minutes after you ask them. We have the easiest to use website builder in the world (no exaggeration). Plus you are getting help from real people who have no "motives" other than to help.
I'm sure that his person was trying to get you to join his "AMAZING" coaching program where he's paying people an hourly wage to coach you. Does that make any sense? If someone has the expertise to coach you, they wouldn't be working at a call centre. They would be earning much more running their own business. Fundamentally, coaching programs where people coach you over the phone make no sense.
This kind of person is the reason why many people get scammed out there. 1000's of current members of Wealthy Affiliate have run into this kind of thing and they have nothing but a bad taste in their mouth for people like this. His program has nothing that will help you build a business online. He'll definitely be good at one thing though, and that's taking your money and offering you ZIP in return.
You're in the right place here at WA to build your business. You have all the training, all the support and coaching, and a website network at your fingertips that is much more supported, more secure, and easier to use than anything in the world.

I'm glad you took the time out reply to thoroughly reply to my blog post and i'm 100% sure that I made the right decision by joining WA.
like you mentioned, No other program in the industry provides what WA provides to it's members, premium or starter and I always believe in free trials because if the product/service is that great then why not let someone try it out for themselves before making the decision to buy.
And as for this guy, I knew he was trying to manipulate me into making me think I made a bad decision which is why I just laughed it off and continued to make progress in my business.
I know what Wa has to offer and I know how alot of these other programs operate based on my own personal experience which is why I chose WA, here at WA we are taught right from the jump that we have to work hard to get to where we wanted to be, and once that was mentioned I knew I had a great program on my hands because you don't make any false promises that make people think they will be making six figures in a matter of weeks.

I think it's obvious you're onto a good thing here at WA by the amount of people who support WA and speak of its benefits. I was slightly wary until it became clear that WA is the real deal. The general message here is 'follow the lessons, implement what you have learned,put the work in and you will see results'. There are no unrealistic promises here and that's why I stuck around.
