Why does my visual editor malfunction whenever I open it up?
Why does my visual editor malfunction whenever I open it up?
What does it do or not do?
If you can't see the editor buttons, go to WP > Users > edit, and make sure the white box next to the Visual Editor setting is left unchecked where it says "disable the visual editor button when writing". If the box is ticked, you won't see the buttons.
If that is not the problem, provide more details about what is happening with it. ~Jude
Hi Jude. Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for responding. Whats also a regular if not most of the time is that when I click on a page, for example, The "About me" page, I'm not able to see my content. Its pretty frustrating that I encounter these problems when I am just about to link my product to my website. Please assist me. I will be forever grateful. Also, why is it when I type in my visual editor, I am only able to cover slightly more than halfway across the page instead of going all the way?
How far across the editor you can cover depends on the width of the post area. I looked at your About Me Page on the web and it covers the full width of the post area as provided by your current theme.
As the only content on your site are the About and privacy pages, I suggest that you switch to the latest WP Twenty-Fifteen theme and add a new post to test if the problems you are experiencing happen there too. .
Twenty-Fifteen is the default WP theme. If the problem does not happen when working in Twenty-Fifteen, it means the issue is with your current theme and you should consider changing it. ~Jude
