Hi Kyle

Hope all is well.

I was wondering if you could possibly create a tower ad or square ad(250x250) or the one that's a bit larger for use in our sidebars. T

I downsized the image to 250 square, put it in sidebar, downloaded the image and where it says link to I put:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/banners/show/wa_blackfriday2019_square.png

Didn't work. It said to (Please Match the requested format)Not sure what the requested format is.

Okay, thanks. Not sure how to do that, but I'll give it a try.

Download the square ad then reduce the size to whatever size you like then put it in an image widget with your affiliate link. Or you can create your own banner image using canva.com.

Can you possibly create a smaller black friday ad?

Hi Kyle!

I hope all is going well for you in the world of Wealthy Affiliate.

I've been a premium member for less than three months and currently have 88 posts wit

I don't have a lot of advice for you as I'm new at this. Just a couple thoughts.

1. I am completely amazed with all you've done in such a short time. Good on you.

2. I wonder how Google sees a title like, "Top Five Caribbean Islands {seniors should avoid for retirement}". I mean specifically what it does with the {} characters. I don't know. Just wondering while I type if it ignores those or if they might harm the ranking.

Overall a cool site.

Hi!
Thanks for your comment.

The idea is to put something catchy in your title. For instance, one post I did was Electric Scooters for Seniors and then I put "that will blow your hair back" So the person doing a search for electric scooters for seniors will probably see about ten sites with the same title, but only one will have "that will blow your hair back."

Which one do you think has a better chance of getting their attention? There is a really good blog on WA on this and maybe you will be able to search it out. It's all about putting something catchy in your title to attract attention.

I don't believe Google will care as long as the content is good. For instance, the HTML for the post has all the words and no brackets. That's what Googe sees.

Cool! I learned something.

Do you still keep physically fit?

I exercise 6 days a week, unless I feel under the weather.

Yes, every senior should do all they can to stay fit. I still lift weights and can still do two-hour runs, but the majority of my runs is about an hour. I'm 70 years old. My profile picture was taken when I was 65.

Much respect!!

Hi Ray
How much content is in your posts?
Like how many words are they?

It is a question the same as - How long is a piece of string?

There is no magic answer.

I just had a quick look at your post:
Cheap Cell Phone Plans for Seniors.

Have you looked into what affiliate programs there are available on this topic?

I think you need more links to more products within your content.

Also, link content back to other posts you have written that are on the same or similar topic - like you have at the bottom of the post but do it throughout your content in a few places.

Highlight or bold important words in your post, this will keep catching peoples eyes as they read and help them to refocus on what they are reading.

I don't know if this will help you but these are tips I received and it makes your posts look more interactive and keep people interested.

Daisy

Thanks Daisy. Good pointers. I was trying not to monetize too quickly. Google apparently doesn’t like seeing a lot of links on a new website.

Most of my post are between 1200 and 1500 words.

Thanks again

Anytime
Cheers
